Senior Town Planner
Alex holds a Bachelor of Urban Development (Honours), majoring in Urban and Regional Planning, from the Queensland University of Technology, conferred in 2020.
Following graduation, Alex commenced his career on the Gold Coast with a private developer specialising in the development, delivery and operation of ‘Over 50’s’ Lifestyle Resorts and Aged Care Facilities located across Australia. In this role, Alex assisted with the preparation of development applications, engaging and working with consultants, managing development compliance matters and property acquisition.
Alex has established himself on the Gold Coast and has gained valuable experience working with a number of highly regarded private development firms, assisting Clients across a wide range of project types within the Gold Coast and wider South-East Queensland region.
Alex’s career highlights include managing planning applications for several high profile residential developments on the Gold Coast, including Ophira at Palm Beach, Malua at Southport and Swan on Chevron.
Alex is passionate about leveraging a careful approach that utilises his technical proficiencies to provide strategic town planning advice and facilitate timely development approvals.
Since joining the Urban Strategies Gold Coast Office, Alex has managed the preparation and coordination of development applications for and delivery of a range of high and low-rise residential developments located across South-East Queensland.
