Logan City Council have granted planning approval for the redevelopment of Watland Plaza, paving the way for the creation of an integrated mixed use precinct comprising retail, commercial, residential and short term accommodation uses together with a seven screen cinema. Sitting at a topographic high point at the southern entrance to the Springwood centre, and at the confluence of the Watland Street overpass and Pacific Highway service road, the $160 million Watland Plaza development is to provide a ‘one stop’ entertainment and accommodation destination. Urban Strategies are proud to have been involved in this project and have worked closely with the relevant stakeholders to secure this approval.
