Wanless continues to be at the forefront of scrap metal recycling. A state of the art, $20 million dollar ‘hammer mill’ located within a large industrial estate at Coopers Plains shreds 130,000 tonnes of used cars, household white goods and building iron a year. The town planning application managed by Urban Strategies required an integrated approach by a range of specialist consultants.
